What we teach

Six instruments, one studio.

Every course is built around the student, not a fixed book — whether that means preparing for a conservatory audition or finally learning the song you've always wanted to play.

Oud

Maqam-based technique, taqasim improvisation, and classic Arabic repertoire from Farid al-Atrash to Marcel Khalife.

Piano

Classical grounding with room for pop, jazz, and film scores — proper reading and ear training from lesson one.

Guitar

Acoustic and electric, chords to fingerstyle, with a focus on playing full songs early rather than drills alone.

Violin

Posture and bowing built correctly from the start, with graded repertoire for young beginners and adults alike.

Voice

Breath support, pitch, and style — Arabic tarab singing, choir prep, or contemporary pop, depending on your goal.

Darbuka

Core rhythms — maqsoum, baladi, saidi — plus hand technique for weddings, dabke, and ensemble playing.

How lessons work

A method that fits around your week, not the other way around.

01

Trial lesson

A 30-minute first session to hear where you're starting from and set a realistic plan — no obligation to continue.

02

Weekly sessions

45 or 60 minutes, one-on-one or in a small group of up to four, at a fixed time slot you keep each week.

03

Recitals twice a year

Informal studio performances in the spring and winter — a real goal to work toward, not just another lesson.

The teacher
"I want every student to leave the first lesson already able to play something — even three notes. That's what keeps people coming back."

From the studio

What families are saying.

"My son went from never touching a piano to playing at the winter recital in five months. The teacher is endlessly patient with kids."

Rania, parent — Khaldeh

"I'd always wanted to learn oud properly instead of picking it up on YouTube. Three months in, I finally understand maqam, not just imitate it."

Walid, adult student

"Close enough to get to after work, and the small group format makes it feel more like a weekly hangout than a chore."
